The Campaign Begins

As some of you might know, Marvel announced that Captain Marvel will be getting her own movie, set to be released July 6, 2018. The names have been thrown out like hot cakes, and honestly, we have no issue with any of them. But this IS a Brittany Beede fansite, and we DO support Brittany, so obviously we are going to go with Brittany as our choice.

She's ready...all you gotta do is make your move.

Earlier, this year, we have gone over as much as we can as to why we feel she should be Captain Marvel (http://brittanybeedefanzone.blogspot.com/2014/07/why-brittany-would-be-great-captain.html). We're not saying this because of how big of fans we are of the former WWE Diva, we're saying this due to what we have seen and heard right in front of our faces. But you know what...we want to hear from you all, the Brittany Beede fans. Why do YOU think Brittany deserves to be considered for the role of Captain Marvel? Leave a comment below or hit us up on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/brittanybeedefans) or Twitter using the hashtags #BrittanyBeedeForCaptainMarvel or #TheCampaignBegins. Assuming the role isn't booked by next week, we will feature comments in a new post on Veterans Day (November 11)!

Why Brittany Would Be a Great "Captain Marvel"

Yeah, yeah, we know that we posted an article a while back about Brittany being a Ms. Marvel. Well, as most comic book fans know, Ms. Marvel has underwent a massive makeover and Carol Danvers (the original Ms. Marvel) is now Captain Marvel. Same powers, new persona. Personally, we think a Marvel female superhero movie is long overdue, and which better woman (other than probably the Black Widow) that should have that honor to get a solo movie than Captain Marvel herself! We're aware of the well-deserving lovefest that a lot of comic book fanatics have with Katee Sackhoff and why she would make a great Captain Marvel (and we can see why. We're not stupid.) BUT...it doesn't hurt to look outside the box and look at what else (or in this case, WHO else) is out there that's just a good a choice as (if not better than) the popular and easy choice. Brittany fits that description in several ways.

Seriously...the similarities of their personalities on this photo alone are WAY too creepy of a coincidence, people.

Captain Marvel's a pretty fit individual and Brittany fits the bill perfectly. Look at her photos from her time in WWE (as Jamie Keyes, or just Jamie from NXT Season 3) if you need visual proof. You don't need CGI technology to recapture Captain Marvel's look when you have someone who maintains her look year-round. Captain Marvel has that certain kind of presence about her than you just can't teach. Brittany happens to have the exact same thing. AGAIN...look at her short time in WWE. She wasn't just someone you can look at and just dismissed her as just "another blonde bombshell". Throughout a lot of wrestling boards, many people were hoping she would be the next heir to Beth Phoenix as a powerhouse in the Divas division. Sadly, that never came to be, and I think it was a matter of "wrong timing of arrival", but that's a whole different subject that will be discussed on a later day. From what fans of the animated TV show The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes might tell you, Ms. Marvel (she wasn't Captain Marvel at the time) had a feminine yet commanding voice. Brittany...yeah, feminine yet commanding voice. Do I EVEN need to tell you where to look for proof at this point?

Another big reason why Brittany would be a great "Captain Marvel" is honestly...she would be a fresh face that would introduce the Captain Marvel character to a lot of people. Tobey McQuire and Andrew Garfield's career saw a major boost with Spider-Man and the Amazing Spider-Man, respectively. This also happened with Chris Evans with Captain America and Chris Hemsworth with Thor. With the exception of a few (like Robert Downey, Jr, whose career was reborn when he became Tony Stark/Ironman), well-known actors have done more to damage a character rather than help it, according to fans. Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Halle Berry as Catwoman, Ben Affleck as Daredevil (I'm REALLY dreading how he's going to do as Batman. I hope to be proven wrong on that). History has shown that a relatively unknown tends to do better in superhero movies than well-known actors.

Bottom line, she's got the overall presence that one expects of a female superhero. The beauty, the attitude, the physique. What more could you ask for? Hollywood is all about taking the easy road to achieve success rather than going against the grain and thinking outside the box. Maybe it's time for Hollywood to go outside their comfort zone and see that there are a good deal of folks that have what it takes to give Hollywood a much-needed shake-up and give them the millions they want. Marvel, Josh Whedon, Stan Lee...whoever is in charge of Marvel movies, you want a Captain Marvel? You want a bonafied female player who can spark the Marvel universe? We know of someone. Her name is Brittany Beede. She's located in Sarasota, Florida. She has the credentials you desire in a female superhero. It's time you look your next future star.

Your move, Marvel...

We've spoken our piece. Now we turn it over to you all: Do YOU think Brittany Beede would make a pretty good "Captain Marvel" in a movie someday? Is there anything I'm missing? Sound off in the comments below.

TNA Posts Brittany's First (and Only) TNA PPV Apperance

Before Jamie Keyes in WWE, there was just Brittany. She accompanied Kevin Nash to the ring (along with World Elite) for the 2nd annual Feast or Fired match in TNA/Impact Wrestling History back in 2009. Feast or Fired is like WWE's Money in the Bank, but in many ways a bit bigger and riskier. There are four cases to win: one of them contains a World title shot, another contains a X-Division title shot, another has a Tag Team title shot, and one of the cases...well...you will be wished best of luck in your future endeavors. With TNA bringing back this company stable, here's a look at the match, and more importantly (to us), the beginning of great things for one Brittany Beede.

(Footage from TNA/Impact Wrestling)

Apparently this is how Brittany got to be involved in the wrestling world in the first place (although she's been a fan for years, going back to her father being a fan of wrestling back in the day. His favorite at the time?! Hulk Hogan). Kevin was searching for a valet for one night (Final Resolution 2009) so he launched a worldwide search and was looking for "Miss Right Now" as opposed to "Miss Right". Looks to us like Kevin made the right choice. Think about it, without this Big Sexy Valet Tour opportunity, we might have never gotten to know about Brittany.

Thanks Big Sexy! :) (FYI, he would win the Tag Team title shot, which was used with Scott Hall to win the TNA Tag Team titles not too shortly after.)

Why Brittany Would Make a Great "Ms. Marvel" In Avengers Sequel

Created it myself with Microsoft PowerPoint,, but credit for pictures used goes to the original creators.

Many comic book fans and moviegoers have been anticipating information on when the sequel to arguably the biggest superhero movie of all time, The Avengers, would come out. The wait is over, as at the San Diego Comic Con on July 20th, the official announcement was made that the sequel would be called Avengers: Age of Ultron.

As of this writing, we don't know any additional information about the movie. Heck, we don't even know if a new Avenger will even be added to the the movie in the first place, but if they are even thinking about one being added...I personally think a very good choice would be Ms. Marvel. She's among one of the original Avengers anyways, and was added to the cartoon series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes during season two. Plus, it would be nice to see another female added to the Avengers squad with the Black Widow. Who doesn't love a beautiful woman who knows how to kick butt with the guys?

We even have the woman picked out to play her...yep, our own Brittany Beede! She's got the look of a superhero (no need for any CGI technology, and her personality is a likeable one (the people that Brittany has personal issues with you can count on one hand. She's great to be around from what I've heard), and based off her brief career in WWE as Jamie Keyes, she can hold her own in the speaking department.

Ever since her WWE tenure, Brittany seems like someone that could be a star given the proper opportunity. What better way to do that than to be part of arguably the most anticipated superhero sequel ever? It would surely take her life to a path not even she would expect.

What do you think, Brittany Beede fans? Should The Avengers decide to add Ms. Marvel to their ranks, would you like to see Brittany play the role? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below. Looking forward to hearing your responses!

Brittany Beede: "Big Things Coming!"...What Could They Be?!

It's been a while since we've seen or heard of Brittany as of late, minus a few tweets from her Twitter here and there. I took it upon myself to finally mention on our Twitter account that we haven't seen much new material from Brittany lately, and I tagged her on the Twitter post about it. She responded with the following tweet yesterday:

@BrittanyBeede: training hard now...big things coming!:)

What the heck that means is anyone's guess at this point. But apparently she's got some plans in the works that she's keeping wrapped for now. Is it going to be a relaunched website? Does she have Crossfit competitions in the brain? Maybe the world of physique competitions is where she's heading eventually. Is Brittany going to go into Hollywood and become the next female action hero in movies and/or television? Maybe she's preparing for another marathon like she did a year or so back. She did do rather well for it being her first one, for those that can recall. Our,maybe...and this one is a stretch...we might be seeing the return of a certain WWE personality who goes by the name of...oh, I don't know...JAMIE KEYES?!?! Hey, she never did she she would never go back there again, so there IS that glimmer of hope.

Quite honestly, I'm just a loss as anyone. If I knew, I'd tell you. But whatever she's training for, we wish her best of luck. As soon as we find out more, we'll let you all know.

What do YOU think Brittany's preparing herself for? Sound off below in the comments or on our Facebook fan page. If you have Twitter, use the hashtag #BeedesNextMove.

Jamie Keyes in WWE Encyclopedia

Apparently Jamie Keyes isn't as forgotten by some of the higher-ups in WWE as much as some people would think, as she is part of the updated WWE Encyclopedia, which had a to-the-point approach to her career in WWE, and even had a  never-before-seen photo to go along with the write-up.

Seriously...how badass is this photo of our girl?! :)

With Beth Phoenix gone, Jamie would definitely fit the bill of the "power Diva" perfectly right now. But hey, like the famous saying goes "Anything can happen in the WWE". We personally like that Jamie was featured in their encyclopedia to begin with (which, BTW, I highly recommend any WWE fan to purchase. Great gift for the holiday season). They could have ignored her, but didn't. Brittany (we're going by her real name now) is young and talented (her strength is INHUMAN for someone even her size, almost like a female John Cena), so she can pretty much do with her life whatever she wishes. Who knows...maybe, just maybe, the WWE Universe hasn't seen the end of Jamie Keyes just yet. Time will tell...

Team Keyes (1st Annual Survivor Series Dream Team)

This Sunday is the Survivor Series PPV. It's the oldest PPV in WWE history minus Wrestlemania, and one of the most popular ones as well. Called "WWE's Fall Classic", WWE Superstars (and sometimes Divas) are put into 5-on-5 traditional Survivor Series teams and face each other in a Survivor-Series elimination match. You eliminate people by pinfall, submission, and disqualification until everyone on the opposing side is  gone. What's awesome about the match it it could down to a one-on-one match, tag team, three-on-three, two-on-three, three-on-one, four-on-one, or the ever-scary five-on-one (to my knowledge, NO team has ever eliminated a whole team while being down to their last man).

In the spirit of the PPV, we at Brittany Beede FanZone have put together a team for Brittany. Using her WWE name, here's the reveal of Team Keyes!!

All photos used belong to the original owners

Let's start with Beth and Natalya. Both ladies bring experience, power, and explosiveness to the team. Both ladies know how to attack you in the ring with a variety of moves. Beth is more power-type in the ring, while Natalya is more technical-type. And both ladies happen to respect our girl's talents as well, as they both have expressed on Twitter in the past. Besides...who WOULDN'T want the Divas of Doom on their team, right? Better to have them as partners rather than enemies.

Naomi would provide the youthfulness and pure athleticism. Not taking anyway from Brittany when we say this, but we were able to see how incredibly athletic Naomi was during NXT Season 3 more so than our girl. Yeah, yeah, I know most current WWE fans are just familiar with her right now as a Funkadacyl with Brodus Clay, but whenever WWE decided to turn her loose to compete, WATCH OUT! And...oh yeah, Naomi and Brittany are basically sistas from other mistas. That was made abundantly clear during NXT Season 3.

IMHO, every good team needs a Legend. Look no further than one of the best, if not THE BEST, of all time in Trish Stratus. While she has never been a part of a Survivor Series elimination team, she knows what it's like to shine at Survivor Series. Over a decade ago, Trish would capture her first Women's Championship in a Six-Pack Challenge, and the rest, as they say, was history. Brittany mentioned a few times that she looks up to Trish, so how cool would it be to see Brittany team up with her idol?!

And of course...the captain herself, Miss Jamie Keyes. Power, athleticism, youth, sassiness, The woman brings a lot to the table, and with the right mindset could lead this very unique team to victory. If this were to play out in WWE, Jamie would definitely have to earn the respect of her team, especially the veterans in Beth, Nattie, and Trish, but I think she would be more than willing to do what she had to do to earn the trust of her team.

Honestly, with a team like this, they could make a dominant run similar to Team DX from 2006 who eliminated Team Rated RKO and had their entire team in tact. That's our team, do you have a better team for Brittany? Use hashtag #TeamKeyes on Twitter or post your thoughts below.
