The Campaign Begins

As some of you might know, Marvel announced that Captain Marvel will be getting her own movie, set to be released July 6, 2018. The names have been thrown out like hot cakes, and honestly, we have no issue with any of them. But this IS a Brittany Beede fansite, and we DO support Brittany, so obviously we are going to go with Brittany as our choice.

She's ready...all you gotta do is make your move.

Earlier, this year, we have gone over as much as we can as to why we feel she should be Captain Marvel (http://brittanybeedefanzone.blogspot.com/2014/07/why-brittany-would-be-great-captain.html). We're not saying this because of how big of fans we are of the former WWE Diva, we're saying this due to what we have seen and heard right in front of our faces. But you know what...we want to hear from you all, the Brittany Beede fans. Why do YOU think Brittany deserves to be considered for the role of Captain Marvel? Leave a comment below or hit us up on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/brittanybeedefans) or Twitter using the hashtags #BrittanyBeedeForCaptainMarvel or #TheCampaignBegins. Assuming the role isn't booked by next week, we will feature comments in a new post on Veterans Day (November 11)!

Why Brittany Would Be a Great "Captain Marvel"

Yeah, yeah, we know that we posted an article a while back about Brittany being a Ms. Marvel. Well, as most comic book fans know, Ms. Marvel has underwent a massive makeover and Carol Danvers (the original Ms. Marvel) is now Captain Marvel. Same powers, new persona. Personally, we think a Marvel female superhero movie is long overdue, and which better woman (other than probably the Black Widow) that should have that honor to get a solo movie than Captain Marvel herself! We're aware of the well-deserving lovefest that a lot of comic book fanatics have with Katee Sackhoff and why she would make a great Captain Marvel (and we can see why. We're not stupid.) BUT...it doesn't hurt to look outside the box and look at what else (or in this case, WHO else) is out there that's just a good a choice as (if not better than) the popular and easy choice. Brittany fits that description in several ways.

Seriously...the similarities of their personalities on this photo alone are WAY too creepy of a coincidence, people.

Captain Marvel's a pretty fit individual and Brittany fits the bill perfectly. Look at her photos from her time in WWE (as Jamie Keyes, or just Jamie from NXT Season 3) if you need visual proof. You don't need CGI technology to recapture Captain Marvel's look when you have someone who maintains her look year-round. Captain Marvel has that certain kind of presence about her than you just can't teach. Brittany happens to have the exact same thing. AGAIN...look at her short time in WWE. She wasn't just someone you can look at and just dismissed her as just "another blonde bombshell". Throughout a lot of wrestling boards, many people were hoping she would be the next heir to Beth Phoenix as a powerhouse in the Divas division. Sadly, that never came to be, and I think it was a matter of "wrong timing of arrival", but that's a whole different subject that will be discussed on a later day. From what fans of the animated TV show The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes might tell you, Ms. Marvel (she wasn't Captain Marvel at the time) had a feminine yet commanding voice. Brittany...yeah, feminine yet commanding voice. Do I EVEN need to tell you where to look for proof at this point?

Another big reason why Brittany would be a great "Captain Marvel" is honestly...she would be a fresh face that would introduce the Captain Marvel character to a lot of people. Tobey McQuire and Andrew Garfield's career saw a major boost with Spider-Man and the Amazing Spider-Man, respectively. This also happened with Chris Evans with Captain America and Chris Hemsworth with Thor. With the exception of a few (like Robert Downey, Jr, whose career was reborn when he became Tony Stark/Ironman), well-known actors have done more to damage a character rather than help it, according to fans. Jennifer Garner as Elektra, Halle Berry as Catwoman, Ben Affleck as Daredevil (I'm REALLY dreading how he's going to do as Batman. I hope to be proven wrong on that). History has shown that a relatively unknown tends to do better in superhero movies than well-known actors.

Bottom line, she's got the overall presence that one expects of a female superhero. The beauty, the attitude, the physique. What more could you ask for? Hollywood is all about taking the easy road to achieve success rather than going against the grain and thinking outside the box. Maybe it's time for Hollywood to go outside their comfort zone and see that there are a good deal of folks that have what it takes to give Hollywood a much-needed shake-up and give them the millions they want. Marvel, Josh Whedon, Stan Lee...whoever is in charge of Marvel movies, you want a Captain Marvel? You want a bonafied female player who can spark the Marvel universe? We know of someone. Her name is Brittany Beede. She's located in Sarasota, Florida. She has the credentials you desire in a female superhero. It's time you look your next future star.

Your move, Marvel...

We've spoken our piece. Now we turn it over to you all: Do YOU think Brittany Beede would make a pretty good "Captain Marvel" in a movie someday? Is there anything I'm missing? Sound off in the comments below.
