"Keyes" to Wrestlemania 28 Dream Match #1

Our first dream match we have for Jamie (for these posts, we will be using her WWE name) is putting her against the current Golden Girl of WWE, Kelly Kelly.

This would have started off during the models vs wrestlers battle over the summer between the Divas of Doom and Kelly Kelly, Eve, and Alicia Fox. The Divas of Doom decided that three wouldn't be a crowd after all and got themselves a third member. During the Royal Rumble, Jamie would make her return to WWE and attack the model divas and align herself with Beth and Natalya. Beth would be getting ready for her Wrestlemania match (against who, I'll leave that up to you), but Jamie would reveal the reason she decided to align herself with D.O.D. She's sick and tired of the model Divas like Kelly Kelly taking the spotlight that belongs to strong women like herself.

When you think about it, this is a story that writes itself. Jamie and Kelly Kelly are somewhat opposites of each other. While both are blonde and fit, they represent two different types of women. Jamie represents the strong woman in the literal sense, and can probably deadlift and/or bench press nearly the entire WWE roster. Basically, she would be more of a powerhouse, but that goes without saying. Kelly Kelly, on the other hand, is more of a gymnast woman who is more of a flips-and-kicks kind of girl. Two different women, two different walks of life...a very interesting clash that's (to me) Wrestlemania-worthy. Besides, it would give Kelly Kelly that Wrestemania moment she deserves. Whether you like her or not, she has given her all for the company for a good long time, longer than most. Plus, these two are good friends in real life, and usually when you are good friends, you can produce great things together.

So, there you have it. Our first dream match for Miss Keyes: Jamie vs Kelly Kelly. Come back tomorrow for our next dream match involving WWE's Terminator of the Divas Division.

"Keyes" to Wrestlemania Blog Special Beginning Tomorrow

In honor of Wrestlemania 28 in Miami, Florida this year (Brittany's home state), we thought we would restart the blog up big time with a week filled with some dream matches that we think would have been cool for Brittany (Jamie) to be a part of at this year's massive event. On a slightly related note, I honestly hope that this year's Divas match (Beth/Eve vs Maria/Kelly) will be okay, but I have my doubts, but that's besides the point. The point of these special posts is to have some fun with our girl and the biggest wrestling event on the planet.

Unless she has some big plans she made ahead of time, I don't see her missing Wrestlemania next weekend, but you never know. If you happen to see Brittany, say hi to her!

If you happen to have your own dream Jamie Keyes Wrestlemania match, use the hashtag #JamieWM28DreamMatch (if you are on Twitter), or leave a comment below this posting or on our Facebook fan page (https://www.facebook.com/brittanybrigade)

New Unreleased Photos

Over the last few days, there have been several Diva pics released that have never been seen before by the public, and fortunately for us, our girl happens to be among those Divas that have unreleased pictures! It's only two pictures, but hey...two's better than nothing right?! :)

Credit to Eric Johnson Photography for these awesome pics of Jamie:

If any more pop up, I'll definitely let you all know! If it's a bunch of them, they will be posted on our Facebook fan page.

Brittany Interviewed by Top Women's Fitness Site

Over the weekend, Brittany was interviewed by top women's fitness site FitGems Nation about a variety of topics regarding WWE and fitness.

Here's portions of the interview where she talks about her WWE career:
FitGems: How did you begin your wrestling career, and how did you end up in WWE?
Brittany: As I stated earlier, I attended FCW's wrestling school before being hired with the company. I was actually attending nursing school at the time. I began training to be a wrestler (sports entertainer!) under the leadership of Steve Kiern and Norman Smiley. I actually drove over an hour, the day of the first class, and was greeted by the Celtic warrior himself, Sheamus! I wasn't hired immediately after completing the school, but with persistence and drive I was given my opportunity! I made the move to Tampa, Florida and ended up on the road after only a month!
FitGems: You were brought into WWE as the announcer for Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) and WWE NXT Season 2 and eventually became a Rookie Diva on NXT Season 3, going by the name Jamie Keyes. What did you enjoy about each of your roles while being a part of the company?
Brittany: I think wrestling fans are incredible! Being able to perform live and impact audiences in sold-out arenas as both an announcer and a wrestler was a tremendous opportunity and blessing!
Why she's no longer in WWE:
Ha ha. I wish I had a scandalous story for you! There is no story really. As I said in the previous answer I hadn’t been there long before I had been put on the road. It is hard to imagine how tough the WWE schedule is until you do it. I joined the WWE because I was a fan, and wanted to promote the fitness lifestyle. However, after being with the company for a while I learned I loved fitness more than wrestling. Everyone treated me great. I loved the people. I loved the opportunities. I didn’t have any fights backstage or anything interesting to talk about. I just felt I could pursue a career helping others with health and fitness that would be more fulfilling to me.
Why fitness is a part of her life:
Like I stated previously, my adoration for the fitness lifestyle was apparent at a very young age. I participated in countless extra curricular activities and began teaching group fitness classes while attending nursing school and continued through wrestling school. Even with the tedious schedule on the road with WWE I always made my workouts a top priority. It's something that I take very seriously and will carry with me for the remainder of my life!
Where she hopes to be in the near future:
My goal is to continue to be a personal trainer, life coach, and source of inspiration to each and every person that I am able. Fitness has changed my life in so many incredible ways, and I plan to share my revelation with as many people as possible by empowering them to live positive, healthy, happy lifestyles, through proper diet and exercise.
Of course I will always continue the challenge of refining my own physique and lifestyle to be the best I can be!
Much more is covered in the interview. To read the interview in its entireity, as well as see some new photos of Brittany, go to http://fitgems.blogspot.com/2011/07/exclusive-interview-with-brittany-beede.html for the complete interview. A must-read for all Brittany Beede/Jamie Keyes fans.

Brittany's First Post-WWE Interview

Brittany has finally done an interview for the first time since leaving WWE last year, as she was interviewed by Bryan Hildebrand of fitness site Rx Muscle. It's a good interview, as she reveals who her favorite wrestler is, how she became a fan of wrestling, what workout tips she learned in her time at WWE, what her favorite part of WWE was, and more! Hopefully she will do more interviews in the future. :)
