Listed under her WWE name (Jamie Keyes), Brittany is one of three recipients this year receiving a $5,000 WWE Talent Scholarship. WWE even updated fans a tad on what Brittany is doing these days:
Jamie participated in NXT Season 3, under the tutelage of The Bella Twins. Before joining WWE, though, Jamie was working toward a degree in nursing. Jamie’s sports-entertainment career gave her a completely different perspective on health and wellness. That perspective compelled her to pursue a master’s in nursing after her in-ring career concluded. She also hopes to obtain a nurse practitioner’s license after receiving her degree.
Again, this is pretty awesome of WWE to help Brittany go further in her education and hopefully become a nurse practitioner. While we DID say that we would love her to be part of the New Era in WWE and be given another shot as a in-ring competitor, it seems like that it's not going to happen anytime soon. But we can definitely see her as a trainer for the WWE Performance Center or even a host of a fitness show on the WWE Network, if WWE ever decides to go that route. But the sheer fact that WWE remembers Brittany over a half a decade after her short WWE career AND they are helping her out in her education endeavors speaks volumes to us today. We wish Brittany best of luck in her education journey and beyond!
